Duey Freeman, MA, LPC

Duey Freeman is a licensed psychotherapist, teacher, consultant and administrator. He has extensive training and experience in gestalt therapy, family therapy, bioenergetics, and therapy with children and adolescents. In addition to initiating GEIR, he joined and revived the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies (GIR) in 1982 and continues to teach extensively at GIR as well as presenting nationally and internationally in the area of Gestalt Therapy, Gestalt Equine Psychotherapy (GEP), Human Development and Attachment. Duey has created a practical human development and attachment theory that is used by thousands of therapists across the country and taught at multiple universities. He is currently in the process of writing a book.  

In 2005, Duey Freeman and Joan Rieger founded the Gestalt Equine Institute of the Rockies. Duey and Joan traveled across the globe teaching and helping others learn and apply Gestalt Equine Psychotherapy.
