The GEIR training is held at Star Peaks Stables Ranch which is located in the mountains between Boulder and Golden, CO. The majority of the training is held at the ranch and we rarely meet at the main offices in Golden, CO.

Hotels : The ranch is the same distance from Boulder as it is from Golden, CO (about 20 miles). You can stay either in Boulder or Golden depending on your preference. There are no hotels closer to the ranch since it is located in the mountains.

Directions from Boulder to Star Peak Stables (about 35 – 40 mins) :

1. Hwy 93 South to Hwy 72
2. Turn West (right) onto Hwy 72
3. Go up Hwy 72 into the canyon for about 7 miles.
4. Turn left onto Twin Spruce (if you hit the Conoco you've passed it).
5. Take Twin Spruce for 4.5 miles to Stanton (Twin Spruce will turn into Gap Rd).
6. Turn Right onto Stanton.
7. Go .6 miles on Stanton (it's a dirt road). Stanton turns into Dowdle at the Ranch's driveway! The ranch is at 10282 Dowdle, which is right before a big switchback that goes left up the road.
8. There is a sign with yellow writing posted on the tree that says: Clavette's 10282 Dowdle.
9. Pull in the drive way and drive all the way back to the house. Park along the orange-ish wood fence that is right in front of you.
