The GEIR training program is now being offered in Australia!
This training is for those interested in the field of Gestalt Equine Assisted/Facilitated Psychotherapy™
and who desire to become a competent and effective Gestalt Equine Psychotherapist™.
- The focus of our program is on core Gestalt therapy theoretical principles, the professional and personal development of each participant, as well as an emphasis on your horsemanship development.
- The training is grounded in the belief that Horses live and breathe the essence of Gestalt — in their natural state of Awareness, Connection, Relationship, Self-Regulation, and Authentic Embodied Presence.
- Receive certification as a Gestalt Equine Psychotherapist™ or certification of completion for those who do not hold a Masters degree.
This is a 2 year training program designed to teach Gestalt Equine Assisted Psychotherapy™.
Participants will meet 8 times over two years at Gestalt Equine Psychotherapy Australia,
Daylesford, Victoria, and gain an understanding of the therapeutic relationship between therapist-horse-client,
competency in the essential concepts and experiential process of Gestalt therapy, and expertise in horsemanship.

Dates : January 12 - 15, 2012
Times : 9am - 5pm (Lunch provided)
Cost : $850 USD (approx. $854.72 AUD), $150 USD NON-REFUNDABLE deposit required if you are not attending Intensive #5.
