The Gestalt Equine Institute of the Rockies is hosted at two different ranch locations, depending on the time of year.

Star Peak Stables (Summer)
The Gestalt Equine Institute of the Rockies is hosted at Star Peak Stables located in the foothills of Golden, CO. Star Peak Stables is a horse boarding and training facility offering exceptional services and top quality care for the horse and rider. Safety, fun, focusing on the positive, and developing a relationship with the horse are the most important goals at Star Peak Stables. Whether you are a beginner or advanced rider, you will find Star Peak Stables a special place to be. Riding lessons and training are available for all levels of experience.

Star Peak Stables is a family operation nestled between breath taking national forest and Colorado state park. It is a beautiful facility with access to miles of mountain trails. It is easily accessible from Boulder, Denver, and surrounding mountain areas.

Happy Dog Ranch (Winter)
In 2006 John and Bernadette Spillane had a life changing opportunity to move to the property of their dreams. At that time they had one horse, Zhum. (who actually predicted that they would move) One horse on 53 acres just wouldn't do so we started down, as John would say, a slippery slope, accumulating just the right amount of equine companions! John and Bernadette now have 20! Plus 4 goats, 2 chickens, 2 ducks, 6 alpacas, 1 llama, 3 cats and 2 dogs! So despite the name Happy Dog Ranch it is really home to a wide variety of lovely, wonderful animals and life has never been better!
